Expand your product offerings and entice your customers with new and exciting flavors and presentations for the spring and summer holiday season!  In this two-day course, you will learn a variety of recipes perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Spring Break, Independence Day, Labor Day, etc.  Customers won’t be able to resist the festive and fun flavors during these celebratory seasons.  The class covers recipe formulation and hands on practice creating a variety of flavors while also focusing on unique presentations.

This class is approved by the American Culinary Federation for 12 Continuing Education Hours. 

Length of Class: 2 days

 Day 1 Schedule

  • Introduction and Program Overview (9:00 a.m.– 9:30 a.m.)
  • Theory (9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.)
    • Review of holidays and classic flavor options that customers look for during these seasons
  • Break (10:30 a.m.–10:40 a.m.)
  • Hands-On (10:40 a.m.–12:00 p.m.)
  • Lunch (12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.)
  • Hands-On (12:45 p.m – 3:30 p.m.)
  • Cleaning (3:30 p.m.–4:00 p.m.)

 

Day 2 Schedule

  • Hands-On (9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.)
  • Break (10:30 a.m. – 10:40 a.m.)
  • Hands-On (10:40 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)          
  • Lunch (12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.)
  • Hands-On & Cleaning (12:45 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.)          
  • Certificates and photos (3:30 p.m.–4:00 p.m.)
