Holiday Gelato Class (Fall & Winter)

Expand your product offerings and entice your customers with new and exciting flavors and presentations for the fall and winter holiday season!  In this two-day course, you will learn a variety of recipes perfect for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Valentine’s Day.  Customers won’t be able to resist the festive and fun flavors during these celebratory seasons.  The class covers recipe formulation and hands on practice creating a variety of flavors while also focusing on unique presentations.

This class is approved by the American Culinary Federation for 12 Continuing Education Hours.

 Day 1 Schedule

• Introduction and Program Overview (9:00 a.m.– 9:30 a.m.)
• Theory (9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.)
  • Review of holidays and classic flavor options that customers look for during these seasons
• Break (10:30 a.m.–10:40 a.m.)
• Hands-On (10:40 a.m.–12:00 p.m.)
• Lunch (12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.)
• Hands-On (12:45 p.m – 3:30 p.m.)
• Cleaning (3:30 p.m.–4:00 p.m.)

Day 2 Schedule

• Hands-On (9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.)
• Break (10:30 a.m. – 10:40 a.m.)
• Hands-On (10:40 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)          

• Lunch (12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.)
