Each seminar in the series is open to an exclusive class of 16 and is held at PreGel’s state-of-the-art training facility in Charlotte, NC. Attendees are culinary professionals who have established themselves, and are looking to sharpen and increase their skills in the specific areas outlined by each PreGel 5-Star Pastry Chef®. Charlotte Professional Training Centers’ is approved by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) for Continuing Education Hours (CEHs). Classes indicated with CEHs meet the ACF continuing education standards. Attendance at these classes will earn ACF continuing education hours (CEHs) towards ACF initial and renewal certification. PreGel AMERICA and the Launch of the PreGel 5-Star Pastry Series®
The PreGel 5-Star Pastry Series® was developed in 2009 by PreGel AMERICA. PreGel AMERICA is the U.S. division of PreGel, a global specialty dessert ingredient company headquartered in Reggio Emilia, Italy, founded in 1967 by Luciano Rabboni. PreGel stands globally as the largest manufacturer and distributor of ingredients for gelato, sorbetto, frozen yogurt, semifreddo, pastries and more, and has a presence on every continent.The series is hosted at PreGel’s state-of-the-art facility in Charlotte, NC, and classes are held year-round. The PreGel 5-Star Pastry Series® was created to offer up and coming pastry professionals the opportunity to hone their skills by learning from top pastry chefs in the industry. While offering a seminar where continuing education and hands-on training is the focus is not new to the industry, what is unique about this program is the intimate setting it offers with the world’s most current chefs.
